Blue Peter’s Radzi Chinyanganya has launched a brand new Craft Club that will get kids occupied for an all out crafternoon in which the kids (and parents) can craft their own DIY projects using objects found around the house.
Radzi Chinyanganya, ex-Blue Peter presenter, has been reviving his art skills from his time on the show, in a brand new series of online classes for primary school-aged kids across the UK.
In partnership with iconic lunch box snack, Sun-Maid California Raisins, Radzi has been taking on a variety of crafting challenges over the past two weeks, encouraging children at home to get creative with anything they may find around the house.
The final class in the series are live on the Sun-Maid California Raisins UK Facebook page!
TV Presenter, Radzi Chinyanganya, said:
“During this time it’s so important to keep kids entertained and creative, and the Sun-Maid Craft Club is a great place to start for anyone, no matter their ability! I’m really looking forward to working with families and creating some fun art pieces that can be put out on display with pride! We’re living in strange times – to say the least – so if Sun-Maid and I can help to add a little fun and something different for households around the UK to get involved in, then that’s the job done.”
Sun-Maid California Raisins are a classic for school lunch boxes and made the ideal fit to host the series. They are also offering some exciting prizes to kids who take part and send a picture of their creation in!
Shirley Griffiths, Marketing Manager at Sun-Maid, said:
“We’re so excited to have Radzi on board for our brand-new Craft Club series! We understand how challenging it can be for parents and guardians to keep children constantly entertained – especially when many are juggling their own jobs at the same time. We hope our Craft Club lessons will create some much-needed light-relief and creative fun for families up and down the UK, and with prizes to be won, what’s not to love!”
The Craft Club videos are online now on the Sun-Maid California Raisin UK Facebook page. For more information, you may visit Sunmaid.co.uk.
