Lake Baikal is an incredible place of power. A miracle that millions of people from all over the world gather to see. Each time, sitting on the shore of Lake Baikal, I think about how lucky I am – day and night, at any time of the year, I can enjoy its greatness and power.
Admire the bright overflow of waves in the moonlight and fall asleep in a tent to their noise. Again wake up and see before your eyes the dazzling brilliance of water playing under the sun’s rays.
Hear the cries of gulls and peer into the silhouettes of stones on the coastline to see the seal. Bathe in freezing cold water at the beginning of summer and bask on hot stones, and incredibly warm at the end, in the gentle sand. And in the winter crawl on ice, looking at the famous #BubblesofBaikal.
Baikal is unique and inimitable. Yet it always energizes. It will always help answer your questions and give you strength and confidence.
Here are 20 photos that prove that. 🙂
